I am being semi-forced into a much smaller home as we start the downslide into retirement. usually this means increased opportunity for things like pen turning hobby, but there is only so much room for things like that in my proposed new home, so I have made the very difficult decision to exit this along with a few other hobbies that take up space. (Anyone want several years worth of board wargames collection?) So I am going to start listing what I have for sale here and hope everything finds a good home. The lathe is probably going to have to go to a good home s=close by, since I don't care to try and figure out how to ship it. But if anyone in the Twin Cities Minnesota are would like a Turncrafter Commander 10" VS for a good price, let me know.

To start with is a box of mixed blanks for pens. Lots of plastics, a few hardwoods. About 5-7 pounds. Asking $50 plus shipping.

i have a chuck, the name of which escapes me (I'm at work today, sorry). sold

a pretty nice set of turning chisels, HSS and carbide.

A forstner set.

Ring turning stuff, including a borer. sold

Interchangeable carbide blade end trimmer set.

A TBC mandrel from PSI. sold

That's what I remember off the top of my head. Also some packaging boxes.

I've got some various size stainless ring forms, some acrylic and some wood blanks. Also stuff to make inlays with metallic powder and some crystal type stuff. Then there is the borer, which is the only way to fly with cutting blanks. A little practice and you can have nearly perfect fits blank to form. Also sizing rings and a sizing thingy you put already done rings on to figure out what size they are. There is also a ring chisel that can refine the inner aspects of the blank for fine tuning.

It's sad that you are getting out of the craft, but nice that you are helping others build up their tooling and supplies. I suspect I'll be doing the same one day. Thanks.
