I have seen a lot of antique copper kits but would like a bright copper kit to match the polished copper segments in a blank that I just turned. Already looked at Penn State and Rockler but no joy. Does this kit exist or do I buy the antique copper and try to polish it?

Thanks,

Ray

I know you prefer bright copper, but here is a Sierra, overall copper, which has a combination of satin copper and bright copper ...

Don't know what your blank is or your components. What about Rose Gold? You are going to have to search for your pen, but might get what you want.

These kits are still around and I have made a few of these over the years for electrician friends and also carried one as a carry pen for quite some time. But will tell you the copper does not hold up well especially the ones such as the sierras. It wears off and that goes for all those type finishes even the antique copper. Never try to polish it.

Sorry. I forgot to mention that it's on a Gatsby tube....

@Ray-CA
The Gatsby tube is compatible with the Sierra. .
They both use 27/64" diam brass tubes.
The twist versions have tube lengths of 2.20" and the click versions have tube lengths of 2.42".

There are other variants of the Sierra, such as the Elegant Sierra and the Sierra Elegant Beauty, but with same tubes.

The Legacy Viceroy also uses the same tube.
