I never had a gal (or guy) want olive green (but Exotics had it and I made it - Rhino). The gatsby grandes (I was never a gatsby guy, but these grandes are meaty and I like the traditional transmission) were finished with Mercury Flex CA. The blue one looks cloudy; that is just my inability to take a decent picture :).

I am guessing that is the equivalent to the Sierra Vista kit?? Looks like they turned out well and am sure they will be well received.

Those look great Tony. Do you usually put CA on acrylic blanks? Just wondering...Thanks

Thank you. I only heard heard of the Vista yesterday in one of your posts. This has a 3/8ths tube. I am not sure of the other similarities. I bought about 10 from Ed. I wish the more pens had more "meat".

Thank you. The green one does not have any CA; the mixed material blanks do (about 8 coats). 90% of the time I do not apply CA to non woods. However, I just started applying a few coats to non-woods (most likely unnecessary). Some of my client have my pens since I started and the non-woods dulled from regular handling. I was easily able to shine them up (the clients didn't ask me, I volunteered - many of my clients are local friends). After, I saw how they can get dirty or dull I started apply several coats of CA as a more permanent protectorant. My everyday carry is made from M3; I applied several coats of CA to it , believe it or not. I am sure none of this is necessary. I just like experimenting. All of my pens have a coat of Rejex synethetic wax, but it wears off after a while.

Very nice. Is that a Wasabi Peas Rhino blank on the Executive?
Thank you. I have to log in an d look it up. I I bought two that looked like olive green to me . One was heather something and that had too much blue in it (but a nice blank). It is called "new money". It definitely needs to be reverse painted. It turned and shined-up well, but wouldn't use it on another thin-bodied pen.
