I agree with Mark, as far as I know, no BOW sellers offer pen blanks in cross cut or diagonal cut so, I have had cross-cut Olive on sale multiples times since 2006, I would assume you have acquired some Olive from Bethlehem and cut it the way you wanted if my assumptions are incorrect, my apologies, I would appreciate the OP thought on this. Can I say both?????
They both are excellent. The cross-grain is lesser seen, so I guess I'll vote for that one, but both are wonderful.
Hi, I bought them both from a Wood Show here in the UK, both came with the usual certificateI agree with Mark, as far as I know, no BOW sellers offer pen blanks in cross cut or diagonal cut so, I have had cross-cut Olive on sale multiples times since 2006, I would assume you have acquired some Olive from Bethlehem and cut it the way you wanted if my assumptions are incorrect, my apologies, I would appreciate the OP thought on this.

It's lovely wood to turn, in fact my first pen was one. Thanks AndyThanks...!
PS: I forgot to mention that Olive wood is my preferred wood regardless of where it has grown, both of your pens have exceptional blanks.
Cheers
