The wood and kit go really well together.
I bought a Kojent a couple of months ago but haven't used it yet.

Be aware that the Kojent instruction page has an error, or inconsistency. It clearly shows that the bushing for the back end of the body is smaller than for the nib end. But the assembly image implies that the two end pieces are different (different letter designations), which they are not, and that the rings are identical (letter designations), which they are not. If you turn and sand down to the bushings and install the rings on the wrong ends, you will not have smooth transitions; you will feel the 0.029" transitions.
Edit... The diameter difference is 0.029", but the lip will be about 0.015".
