:bananen_smilies035:Here are the pairings for the SEPTEMBER 2015 PITH!

We have 70 adults with :bananen_smilies051:12 NEW members joining in!!
* No youth were identified at this time, will have to work on next PITH

In the member swap we have 3 countries represented: Australia, Canada and the USA. Form the USA we have 28 states represented.

But first a few comments:
1) Please check over the list, let me know if there are any issues/errors
2) Establish communications with your swap partner, by PM and in this THREAD

3) Stuff happens. If something comes up that may affect your ability to complete the swap, communicate with each other and with me (HCPENS) so we can resolve the situation.

4) Your pens need to be delivered by 10/31/15

5) In a couple of days I will start a thread to post pictures of the pen you receive. Let's have the receiver post pictures for this PITH if possible. However, you should take a pic or two in case the recipient can't post the pics.
6) You can post teasers and taunts in this thread.

Kewl ... I got paired up with wyone, who's also a new turner who started this year!

I can't wait to see what he's got in store for me! :)

I sent him a PM with my address, and asked for his. I see that his profile has an address, but it may not be updated, so I'll wait and see just to make sure. :)

B O B B Y !!!! WhasUPPPPP!!!

Lookin' forward to fall-related pens.

Since trees is/are one of the items related to autumn, I am thinking that finding a theme for a pen may not be too difficult! Ya think?!

THE THEME FOR THIS PITH:
"Autumn is here"
Anything that is Autumn to you: Snow, food, trees, schools in, hot is out, cold is in . .

And food ... hummm .... maybe since I am from New Mexico and our state motto is "Red or Green", as in chiles, maybe a nice red/green pen infused with some capsaicin oil so that it burns your hand every time you use it is in order .

Who knows what my maniacal mind will come up with! who-aaahh aaahhh aaahhhh!
(I'm gonna need that extra month!)

PITH

Hey Krash, what's happening? Checked our some of your post, WOW, some great looking pens. Everyone in Louisiana looks forward to Autumn here, lower temps, lower humidity. We don't have much
snow here, which is fine with me, I'm not a cold weather person. As far as food, anything seafood, especially crawfish, but wrong time of year. Trees, Cypress is the state tree, but I turn anything. Wife works at the local high school, Live Oak Eagles, blue and yellow. I retired in 2013 after almost 39 years working at a power plant.

I look forward to receiving what you come up with for a pen.

These happen every couple of months and we love to get new people involved. I slept thru registering for this one, but have met some great folks and picked up some great pens for my collection.

Kelly,

You disappoint me. With back to school in the fall I figured you'd be up for making one from parts on a yellow school bus.

Chiles related? So yesterday, or since you are looking at both red and green, so Christmas...

Huummmm ... a school bus huh? I wonder what kind of pen holder I could devise for a yellow and black school bus pen. Maybe a red STOP lens?
(or maybe duct tape. Every bus driver needs a roll of duct tape, right?)

Sounds promising!!!

I can see it now, a little red lens, a little yellow paint, and a little school bus seat material, and maybe a piece of gum from under the seat all mixed in a little resin.

Maybe as a holder a piece of old tire?

My Autumnal theme is that I am "harvesting" bits and pieces from around the shop.
