Where can I find the transmission or click mechanism in a Polaris? Customer brought one in and the point barely can be seen when extending it.
Please and thank you.

John, It sounds like the transmission needs to be pressed towards the nib 1/8". It's done using a brass tube .310 dia and 19mm long.
If you can't get the directions on line, let me know and I'll scan and email them to you.
BTW, you must unscrew the top cap, rings, and transmission before attempting.

Russ, I am going to give this a try. If I get stumped, I will ask for the instructions. Thanks for jumping in to help.

Fixed !!!!! I made a tool by grinding the top of a carriage bolt to .322 and pressed the mechanism downward. It worked and the pen is on its way back to the owner. Thank you. Had you not given me the idea, it would still be sitting on my work bench and a monkey on my back. M
The owner is a lecturer at a local university and I like to make these people happy.
