Where can I find the transmission or click mechanism in a Polaris? Customer brought one in and the point barely can be seen when extending it.

John, It sounds like the transmission needs to be pressed towards the nib 1/8". It's done using a brass tube .310 dia and 19mm long.
If you can't get the directions on line, let me know and I'll scan and email them to you.
BTW, you must unscrew the top cap, rings, and transmission before attempting.

Russ, I am going to give this a try. If I get stumped, I will ask for the instructions. Thanks for jumping in to help.

Glad that fixed it. Polaris click is one of my favorites.
Good "Point" unless the threaded sleeve was a loose fit in the tube there is really no other way for it to move.
