For some reason I stoped turning pens about 5 years ago.
I recently tried to sale some of the pens I had to help pay for our upcoming adoption.
I did sale some and had a request for a custom job. I did the pens and rediscoverd how fun it is!
One of the bigest pain I remember was finishing pens. I hated CA and the other just did last.
But now I've discovered WTF (Wood Turner Finish) and my heat gun! WOW!
I can build up the finish in no time. It's hard as hell! Sand down with MM. Voila! Eye candy.
The best is no fumes, no fingers glues together.
