i see woodcraft has the dvr on sale i guess i will have to get one now don't if it will get any cheaper . does anybody have some good plans for a stand besides the one in the instruction manual. any help would be appreciated

If you mount it to a flat bench top I suggest you leave at least 1 1/2" gap between the bottom of the bed and the top of the bench top to allow easier chip removal. I only left a 3/4" gap and wish it was larger.
BTW I mounted mine on a cabinet that I built based on a design from Shop Notes. Fully closed in cabinet with drawers and door. Good for supplies, etc.

I set my presets to 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 3500 - rarely use the 250 - sometimes for drilling; 500 for applying CA and sanding; 1000 bowls moderately rough; 2500 & 3500 turning pens and polishing - finding myself at 3500 more and more!
