vprot.exe is the vprotect program for AVG virus protect software. Something is keeping this program from opening correctly. Since AVG offers a free virus protection package, your simplest and least expensive option may be to go to a trusted site like cnet and reload the software.
Once the software has been downloaded, the install program for the new version should uninstall the corrupt files and replace them with better ones.
