I posted on a couple of the end of the world boards. I simply said if they were so sure it was over than to sign over their car titles, house titles and bank accounts to me.. Unfortunately I didn't get a single takers... there goes another failed get rich quick idea ;(

Maybe the Mayan calender didn't show the end of the world. Maybe it shows when things will begin to get straightened out in all of our lives.

Their culture ended in about 900 AD. Why is ANYONE surprised that their calendar also ended, a mere TWELVE HUNDRED years AFTER they ended.
To them, this year IS pretty meaningless!!

I celebrated the end of the world last night. Woke up this morning with headache and thought the world was ending, then I noticed the empty bottle of Crown Black on the end table. Oh well it was a nice celebration. Now I have to go restock for the start of the new year.

I was watching TV last nite and at exactly one minute after midnight my TV went black!
Then I realized I was still here looking at a blank screen. After a few minutes I went to bed.
Power supply control card went bad.
Glad we all made it thru.

A friend of mine gave me some home-made egg-nog. For those who are not familiar with this concoction, it is milk, raw eggs, nutmeg, and several other ingredients mixed with some Brandy / Rum or other spirit. This egg-nog is "EXTRA-high test"!!
