Well, another week living at work. Got 55+ hours last week with out Saturday, and missing a half day to boot. 12 hours a day so far and will most likely go through Saturday. Alas.......

At least I DO like what I do.

Been there, done that. For the first 28 of my 32 years working for a large corporation I didn't know what a 40 hour week was. I averaged between 25 and 35 percent overtime until the last 4 years on that job.
Yea, and that was probably when the law said you could not work 7 days in a calendar week....I worked around that many times. We conveniently had a work week that was Saturday thru Friday rather than Sunday thru Saturday like the calendar said.Reminds me of the good old days. When I started my job at the paper mill, it was just before deer hunting season. Than came Thanksgiving, Christmass, and New Years. At last after working 69 days in a row ( many up to 16 hours a day ) I got a day off. Oh to be young again !! Jim S

But to be completely honest I think I put more hours in while I was in the Navy - especially when we were at sea and every day was a work day and every night was a work night...days off came when we were in port.
the only thing worse than being busy is not being busy. NO work is never a good thing.
