Sure. Although it would cost me more in gas for my truck than to pay postage on a flat rate. I need a more fuel efficient vehicle :frown:

Carl, doesn't everybody in SC live like next door to each other? You know, so you wouldn't actually have to ship it?
You mean people actually LIVE in SC? I thought they just went there to Myrtle Beach.

Yeah, everyone except those who live in SC! All the south carolinians avoid myrtle like its the plague
I'll take your word for that...never been there (Myrtle Beach) myself.

Yea I have lived here in SC for 36 years well my whole life and I believe that I have been to myrtle beach maybe 5 times if that. I rather go to charleston sc instead.

Just packed the pen in the USPS box to go across the "pond". I've done my part now let's see how the international postal service does theirs.

Careful Smitty, don't want to put off the customers and potential customers in SC.

Actually, DurocShark, the people in Rhode Island and Delaware all live in one neighborhood. We here in SC are all separated by lakes, state parks and hunting tracts.

And yes, most Sandlappers do avoid Myrtle Beach... except those who live there of course. Me, I would rather go to the mountains. But if I must go to a beach. Hilton Head Island is my favorite.

Teaser photo of obone's pen.

The pen is done. Here are some left overs. A piece of honduran rosewood burl that blew out while I was drilling , a scrap of cocobolo, a half of a blank of stabilized pommelle sapele, some brass shavings form the metal lathe, some wood shavings (also from the metal lathe, as it happens) and a couple of left over parts from the pen hardware package.

John,
I posted it to you this morning, The last time I sent a pen to the USA it took 8 days to get there, But this time Quantsa Airlines are having a series of rolling strikes ( the are the airline Australia Post uses) Australian Customs are also having rolling strikes, so who knows just how long it will take to get to you.

I guess this means Eric (ericw95) will have to wait a bit. When this happens I quit for the day and start over the next day.
