Triton ballpoint in Black with Gold Matrix Tru-Stone

My second tru-stone attempt (both have been the black w/gold matrix) but this one turned so much easier! More like PR.

Comments and critiques welcome,
Thanks for looking!

Nice job, Lenny! Be prepared to make a bunch of these. This combination is a tried and true attention getter that will sell faster than you can make them.

Don't forget the EZ Flo ink!

Look at that SHINE!!!!!!!!

Nice job, Lenny!!!
I just made a ballpoint and rollerball this week. To my surprise the "cap" section is the same length on both, and the clips match perfectly. Actually LOOK LIKE a set!!
Try it---should sell really well and be profitable!!

Ed, I debated between this or the Blue Lapis I got from you. I used this one for a ballpoint because my previous one was the Triton fountain pen. I have another Triton rollerball in stock. By keeping it "in stock" if someone wants a rollerball instead of the fountain, I can just swap out the nibs. So essentially I have 3 choices of Tritons in Black w/Gold matrix. Unless of course someone wants all three.... but then that would be a good problem to have! :)

Andy, is that the same as the Private Reserve ?
I try to keep them available. I do like showing them off at shows! People can't deny the difference they make. :)

You were a big help to me when I turned my first one! I expected this one to be as difficult but it turned and polished very easliy! Go figure! :)

Yep, Lenny! The EZ Flo is the PR. I like to load an EZ in the Triton and have the customer try both the Triton and the Mont Blanc Miesterstuck.

I do have 2 used MBs for sale (priced at half of the MB $395 retail). They've been with me a couple years now. The MBs get a lot of attention.... Until the customer tries the EZ Flow:).

What got me thinking about that was I was contacted by a "potential" customer who had seen my youtube videos and was interested in what I had for fountain pens. When I started going through them I realized I only had a handfull as most of my pens were rollerballs. It was only as I started to photograph them that it clicked in that many of them were of similar kits and plating, .... all of a sudden a couple dozen rollerballs could also be fountain pens just by swapping out the nibs. SLOW ...:bulgy-eyes: yes, but the light bulb eventually comes on!:)

WOW!! They look like they where made for each other.

I really like the Triton components ... especially the Chrome with just the little hint of gold accents! I think it brings out the gold matrix.

+1 on the Tritons! AND because of the way the centerband builds, the center ring can be changed to the material of your choice, almost effortlessly.

Take the blank cutoff, drill in a 12mm hole, turn round to the thickness of the center gold ring (silver ring on gold model), MM to 12,000, part it off.

The first one of these takes 30 minutes, the next 20 (or how ever long your blank scrap is) takes 10 seconds each.
