This is a 30-06 Win. nickel plated shell casing w/ a Prairie rattlesnake skin cast in resin. I turned the resin to appear wavy like a snake in motion, gave it my first at the recessed clip, and tried to cast the two-button rattler in resin for the finial. Problem was, there were a few bubbles that escaped from the rattle and were trapped. But what can you do. It happens to the best sometimes.:frown: Anyway, I do apologize the pics are not the greatest for the ratttler . Its different though, hope you enjoy looking.

Very unique. I like the rattles on the finial. That is original as well as the wavy body. I think if you had turned the finial smooth, the buzzers would have showed up more.

Very nice work and ingenuity.

Paul I have to agree with ya. My idea at the time was to imitate the rattle and then once I did that, I realized it would look better just being smooth. I will know next though
