Two-tone Pepper Mill

I'm not sure what the wood is (Bubinga?) but I couldn't pass up trying to make a pepper mill from it.



It's 12" high and I tried something a little different in the photo, too. I think the picture on the right is more true to the actual colors.

Sap wood - I'm not sure I could manage creating a joint that clean for a curved edge

Very nice pepper grinder Barry. I can only hope to make stuff like that. I have started wood turning awhile ago but pens are my limit.
