Ok decided to mix a little red and blue, was hoping for a little more color seperation but the solid purple is good, up close there are hints of red streaks and speckles in it.

Blank standing up has been MM'd to 12000, laying down is right out of the mold.

Now that i am basicly out of the castin clear, i will be ordering the 41 from uscomposits this week..

I think you will see a vast improvement on brittleness once you start using the Silmar.

When you get the S41, report back on the difference between that and the Castin Craft resin. I haven't gone through but a gallon of the CC Resin and haven't tried the S41 product, but wouls love to hear about the difference. That is a great looking blank by the way.

There is a huge difference between CC and Silmar in many ways.
