Almost complete, this is an urn for my sister in law's remains that loml asked me to do. I had a friend help with cutting the miters and slpines. I put the top and bottom on after we finished it. Only thing left is to do the final coats to the top since the laser work was done and to flock the inside as loml wants a little cushion in there as a gentle touch. We are going to Vegas next week to intere it and seal the lid but I am very happy with the looks and finish. The wood is Walnut with maple splines.
This is the first box I have ever done as well.
Jerry

You should be proud. It is a very lovely piece and I am sure that the family will appreciate the time and energy you took making it. It shows that it is a work of love.
I am sure that your LOML appreciates it a lot.
