This is a mulberry crown (I got it from sbwertz) I turned in to a small bowl. Tried to keep as much of the out side natural as possible.

Have not applied a finish yet because I am not sure what I want to use yet.

Wow...very cool. That would have been a great candidate for casting with a colored resin.
I hope you wore a face shield when you turned it. It looks like an accident waiting to happen!

I have a good face shield and am I glad I wore it. While I was cutting the tenon on the base the piece flew off and hit my face shield. Was turning slow but still that would have hurt.
