Well, I know everyone and their mother has made them and posted before... But even though I have had these in the shop for well over a year, I have never gotten around to making one. So, here we go.... my first bottle stopper. ;-)

This one is rosewood and lacquer

Nothing like making it hard on yourself with that recess in the top. I wan to be there to see how many people try to remove that little knob from it as well. Nice job but I have to say, About Time. Guess I shouldn't say that though I have lots of pen kits much older than that stopper is.

Thanks guys, the sanding was harder than something nice and flat, but not all too bad. The finish is just spray lacquer (4 coats, lightly sanded and buffed)

Jeff... you sir, are a glutton for punishment if you think that would be a good idea~
