first natural edge bowl

This is a dogwood natural edge bowl. I was given this bowl blank by a friend. Today was a snow day in Ga. so I put it to good use. It has a spray lacquer finish and was sanded to 400 grit. Enjoy, Russell

Dave you start off by turning the foot of the bowl. Then glue the crap out of the bark. And I mean GLUE THE CRAP out of it. Lot of thin ca. Thanks for the comments. Russell

Fred it's 4 1/4" by 4 1/4". As you know from being local the dogwood just doesn't get real big.
