Carved Ambrosia Maple Memory chest

I built this chest (with much help from my grandfather) for a lady at church whose grandson died at 6 days old. She wanted a memorychest in which to keep all of his stuff (blanket, clothes, etc.). I was given dimentions, but otherwise complete creative control over the build I started the project by calling my old high school shop buddy and we set to work. I did most of it with my grandpa but it ended up like this:

I got a chance to use my carving chisels for the first time and carved his name "Elijah" into the lid
