This was as a result of a special order, from a family relative, so when I ordered the components of their choice, I got two sets. This is mounted on a piece of English Yew- It is England's, Hardest Softwood. ( Not a lot of people know that - as Michael Caine is reputed to have said) dontheturner

Ken, and Hugh Your kind comments, are swelling my head. Barometers are so easy - Come here on Holiday, CHEAP and take a piece of beautiful Bradoo back home in the Ladies suitcase! easy! All the parts are on the www.Craft-Supplies.co.uk web site I think they do a Kit, with the wood too. Well seasoned stock. At the time I created them, by laying the components onto the wood surface, then skirting them with the pencil, bandsaw, then router with a roman ogee bit. route the back out, them polish and mount the parts. Two days maximum. dontheturner
