Great job! These bangles are fun to do aren't they? Plus you end up with a really beautiful piece of jewelry!

Very nice! They are fun and a nice change from pens once in a while.

Wow very nice. I will have to try that my wife likes bangles.

Be careful.... My wife likes them also so I made a few. Now I've been told I can not make them for anyone else or to sell. They all go to her. Lol. I guess she told the girls at work its enough that I share the pens I make with them but the bangles are reserved for her. Lol. She calls it a marriage benefit.

The metal rings and ..

stabilized wood burls can be purchased from Bangle Guy. He also provides detailed instructions and videos on how to build the bangles. The instructions include how to create the wood blanks for the bangles.

He provides very good service and reasonable prices.

My wife saw these in an add in one of my magazines and is wanting some. Was it very hard. All I have turned is pens but I just bought a larger lathe and am wanting to branch out.

I did not find it difficult. But,..

1. I went to his web site and checked everything out. (bangleguy.com. He is a member here and has ad in vendor section))
2. He has a tutorial that is very good.
3. He made videos for each step of the way. Separate chapter and separate video.
4. I ordered two bangles and two bangle blanks
5.I created two dummy bangles first. One out of cherry and one out zebra wood. Those came from cut off pile.
6. After I was satisfied with form and fit, I created one of the two I ordered.
7. I let my best critics, (my wife and her friend review the results.)
8. It passed their review., so now I have done six and sold 4.

(You have make one for wife or significant other. They are one of the best means of advertisement as the wear it around)

All in all, It is rewarding and fun.
