I sometimes do not know why when I come here some things just start rolling around in my empty head. 
For the life of me I can not say why I thought of this event that happened here some time ago. The only thing I could think of is because Curtis our head moderator made a posting a couple days ago. This is a rare happening:biggrin: But all kidding aside, I felt it is something that should be relived by our older members and shared with our newer members. We are constantly getting new members joining the site and the talk is pen making and CA finishing and selling and pricing our pens. All topics are great of course and that is what this site is all about.
But I would like to share with our Newbies what the Community aspect of this site is all about. We all share our stories good and bad. We help each other when we can and send prayers when needed. But here is an example of the above and beyond generosity and good will of this community to its fullest.
There were 2 prime founders of this project that need to be mentioned. Our head moderator Curtis (we all know who he is, he is the man with the Juice!) and YouthMinisterDan (Dan Eakins) The rest of us just followed the leaders.
This story is about a young man. For those who may be new or may have missed it, Cody Colley is a 13 year old young man from Youth Minister Dan's youth group who recently underwent surgery for bone cancer in his shoulder and is now enduring chemo therapy.
I will attach the links that tell the story the best and the generous auction that took place. It was cool.
