I just picked up a 1931 lathe...just for fun.

It is a Walker-Turner lathe--- their Driver model.

It is in outstanding shape. I hope to clean it up and just use it for display.

I love those old lathes, I have several, a 1970 Delta, a 1941 Dunlap, 3 Goodell Pratts and 2 with no names on them. 3 have industrial model sewing machine motors mounted for them, they can go from zero to 3000 RPM at the turn of a dial.
