I would imagine there is more then one of us here that has that thought every once in a while....or maybe I'm thinking way too much:rolleyes:

So I grabbed one of the wife's purty blanks and did my best not to get caught with it, at least until after I had drilled a hole in it:wink:. Turned to shape, sanded(wet) thru 8k on the MM pads, and then used the MacGuire's PlastixPolish to shine it up.

Fun to make and only takes a few minutes!

Midvale, Ut,
That's what I was wondering also Steve. Looks great, my favorite colors. Now we just need a kit to fit my Pepsi cans or bottles.:)

I don't think that it would hold an entire shot, but you could always go back for more. Was originally thinking about attaching something like a clanger(make a bell out of it), but it's one of those "tuit list' things to do.

Wether you meant to do it or not, a built in shot glass is genious!

Never been called genius before....not even by mistake. ummm, thanks. Used a 5/8" Foster bit and just drilled out the center while on the lathe, then expanded that to the edge with a small chisel...used my finger to keep the depth even. Wet sanding the inside of these ain't fun(useful tip)

Yup, really nice. The photograhy is great also. Is that an HDR pic? The exposure looks sweet.

Actual was in a hurry to photo this one. Set the f/stop at 45 and added +1.33 to the EV setting....click, 3.5 seconds later this popped out. Crop, a tweak on the sharpen meter, post through PhotoBucket.

Even in the light tent I pick up some 'ghosts' on the item in the reflections...what can ya do.

Thanks everyone.

That is really sharp, Scott! I've never seen a combo stopper & shot glass like that, but the idea is brilliant. I expect to see PSI offering kits for that in their next catalog--better hurry up and get a design patent! :)

I need to make a few of those for my favorite scotch and bourbon.
