Yeah a short pen Mal. Cap to body are m14 x1.0 single start on this one, always Jowo #6 that's all I know how to make!

Good work. I'd be careful marketing with the term "piccolo " though, as that's a well known model that Nakaya sells.
Yeah I know that pen well, they are beautiful. To my knowledge a piccolo is a small flute, so not necessarily Nakaya's name. I've only called it that on here to describe that it's smaller, not on my page.

Right, it is a small flute. However in the context of pen names it's a Nakaya trademark. Like a mustang is a wild horse, but in the context of cars it's a Ford trademark. Call it want you want on here, but if you sell it as such, be prepared for backlash from the fountain pen community

Yep. They're quite popular. A considerable amount of work goes into the finishing process. Not my cup of tea, but I can respect the craftsmanship and traditional finishing

I'm surprised that the lady likes the dark timber. My wife would say that that dark a colour would be a mans pen.

Absolutely in love with this one!! LOVE that wood! Your kitless (bespoke) pens are some of the best. I appreciate that you give your pens multiple materials, with different material for the top of the cap and bottom of the pen. A lot of the bespoke pens I see are just one kind of material, and I think some fine contrasts are necessary for that professional look.

That's a beautiful piece of wood and I love the caps on the ends! I did almost expect to see a musical instrument, though.
