Zip code locator?

Has any progress been made on the zip code/locator project? Had a question from a new member who's about 4 hours and 15 years :tongue: from Atlanta - was wondering if he had any closer options for connecting with a group of penturners?

Hi Steve!

I guess this falls under my temporary position with the Steering committee.

The zip code guide has made some progress, we have a little over 500 people who gave us this information.

If I were you, looking to advise a new member, I would look first at the local chapter forum: Local Chapters - International Association of Penturners

If you see anything closer to your new member, at the moment it would be best to PM me to see who is in charge of that chapter. (We will have a directory at some point, but now we are still attempting to get all the contact info accurate). Then, one of the steering committee can assist him in "getting located".

This is NOT the end all solution!!!
But it is a working answer until more info can be confirmed and cataloged.

Thanks, Ed. I've already looked in the local chapter area - he's 2-4 hours from the nearest groups, if in fact they are active.

Looking forward to any new functionality coming from the Zip project!
