Zen pen warnings

I have read the warning in the CSUSA catalog that says to not place a Zen
near sensitive electonic devices.

Over the years,I have read here that it's mainly credit card strips,but on another post I read tonight,the comment was to always warn about potential pacemaker problems.

I kind of pooh-poohed it in the past,because I accidently had a magnetic stipped gift card in the same pocket for a full day,and nothing happened.

Now I'm worried that if I start selling them that someone could get hurt and I'd be liable.How real of a safety/liability problem is it? What if it's bought by someone as a gift for someone that happens to have a pacemaker,is swhat's got me worried now.

They are my favorite to make,and I experimented with the screw-on capped Dayacom one,but I still prefer using the quicker magnetic cap.I currently have about almost 50 in stock...more than any other pen.

I had my heart doc check it out. No issues with the magnetic on pace makers or other devices.

This is just one of the many reasons it is prudent to have business insurance.

They have to put that warning on there to cover their liability. (Same reason they put WARNING HOT LIQUIDS on a cup of coffee.) The only time I had a problem with magnets was back in the days of 5 1/4 inch floppies and someone pinned a disk to the filing cabinet with a refrigerator magnet.

If it were a powerful rare-earth magnet, I'd worry, but then you'd have to pry the cap off!
