In a first for me, I managed to sell out of razor sets. I had six at the start of December. Each day another one heads out of the shop. Thanks to CSUSA for their great kits and dependable shipping even during the holiday season. I select UPS whenever possible as the post office has been slipping lately.

Bubinga cut diagonally is next.

Very pretty.... what is your finish to keep it water proof??
I have a kit hanging on the wall in the shop for the last 4-5 years ... really need to give it a turn.
I finish it just like all of my pens.
Turn
Sand to 400 grit twice
Clean with alcohol - let dry completely
Four coats of thin (5 cps) EZ Bond CA
Spray a tiny amount of accelerator
12-16 coats of EZ Bond thin (50 cps) "pen finish" CA with a tiny accelerator spray after each
Let cure for at least an hour
Flush up ends with 220-320 sandpaper on lathe with Rick Herrell jig
Three coats of thin CA applied to the newly flushed ends
Sand with 400 grit laterally
Buff on the first two wheels of the Beall buffing system

I have a shave handle that is over five years old. Looks new!
