Tis the season - hope everyone has been nicer than naughtier!
With the 2019 BASH rapidly approaching, and the Greatest Contest EVER -

The Segmented Pen Contest

being added to the lineup,
time for everyone to up their game and get the creative juices flowing.

Hmnnn, Maybe -

A collet chuck for awesome accuracy when needing to drill those segmented blanks accurately.

A beautiful sanding jig to get those ends nice and square without damaging those precise segments.

Many, many veneers to really make those segments POP.

A nice supply of thin stock woods to allow all your segmenting ideas become reality.

A tailstock drill chuck, when your segmented blank deserves the best.

Lots and lots of blanks - you know why.

Clamps; yes, it is possible to run out of clamps.

Maybe a new band saw, table saw, thickness sander; after all, fame and glory awaits you February 1, 2019 when you can submit your entry to the... Segmented Pen Contest.

LOL !!! . Very appropriate, Mark ....

Now, ... just reword that so it rhymes and sing it to the tune of Jingly Bells !! ... or the tune of Silver Bells !! ... or Mele Kalikmaka !!

Or just recite ... like ... 'Twas The Night Before Christmas !!

Somebody here will surely take up the challenge .....

G'Day Mal:

I can't rhyme, I can't carry a tune, but I can try my best to get some enthusiasm for the BASH. All is good. I have a bunch of hair-brained thoughts to get some blood flowing. And yes, Hawaiian "Merry Christmas" is in the mix!

E Pono, Mark

Mark, You nailed my wish list for my shop.

Got to show this to the bride.

Good luck with Vicki! Maybe a package arriving today or Monday will grease the axels.

E Pono my friend.
