The 1st pic is Desert Rosewood and the second is Tasmanian Blackwood. From left to right in the 3rd pic they are: Bethlehem Olivewood, Mallee Root, Olive and Yellow Box Burl.

Nice variety of woods and styles. That is some of the straightest grain I have seen on olive wood!!

Beautiful pens. I love the Mallee Root pen. I have one burning question for you though.... do lathes turn the opposite direction in Australia?[][] Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. Kirk[8D]

lol, nah they all spin the same way here.That Mallee root pen is about 3 or 4 pieces glued and it has many layers of CA to keep it together.
