Some folk asked for pictures showing the process for the yosegi-type patterns. Here are some patterns based on a 30 degree jig.
This jig allows for equilateral triangle and quadrilateral rhombus shapes.
Photographs show different patterns using these two shapes in two different timbers, as well as my adhesive encased fingers.
If interested I will show shapes made with 45 and 60 degree jigs.

Thank you for sharing your ideas and techniques Alan. I am definitely going to give this type of segmenting a try and see what i can come up with.
