I'm finding the pull of creativity and depth of options with these modified slimline pens (and did I mention you can't beat the cost?)

I found a write up from Don Ward online ( https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/view/46385292/slimline-modification-pen-makers-guild ) that I mostly followed for this one, and despite having excellent instructions I still found bits challenging. The side of the blank to insert the tube while glueing it tripped me up twice! And shaping the top I would spend more time on for the next one. Still I'm surprisingly ok with the result I got [emoji2]

I'm not sure what the wood is, it came from a large bag of unknown blanks. Likewise the acrylic came from a bag of cut offs from Woodcraft. As a result of a sale on the kit itself, I might have $5 in this pen only [emoji1787]

That looks REALLY good !!! . I like the finial piece especially. . I assume there is a bit of file work in that.

Thanks for showing the hypothetical "refill replacement pull apart" too !!

Great Job. I do "MS" from time to time. I had an idea but didn't quite know how I wanted to accomplish the task. I think you might have filled the gap. Thanks for sharing.

Ha ha hypothetical [emoji1787]
The majority of my pens I think don't even get a test scribble... running the ink dry would never happen!
