I have seen so many ornaments this year that I had to try some on my own. I had about 2 hours free on Thursday night and made these. Most of them went as gifts to my team at work. LOML of course got her choices. These are fun and easy to make. They are not perfect so don't look too close.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, you're productive. Took me three hours to make one. Of course mine was actual useable size, with.... 5 parts. The walnut roof flew out of the chuck and hit me smack in the forehead too.

Thanks for looking. I am gonna have to try a full sized one....of course, I will try to remember to duck!

I am sure that there is a tutorial out there somewhere, I just "winged" it. I drilled the holes for the door and perch first, hollowed out the cavity, turned it round, finished it and then did the roof. Glued the parts together, cussed at the birds and I was done. Give it a shot.
