I wrote in an earlier post about 2 weeks ago that the storage unit complex that I have my little shop on wheels had a fire, and I had to move while they gut it to repair the damage.

I had since found another unit on the far end of the place that they said I could hook into the electricity and use an unmarked section of the parking lot about 10 feet away.

It was a lot of work, but I got all moved in yesterday & this morning, and it turned out nicer than I thought.

I got creative trying to maximize space, and a big improvement is I now have a totally bare workbench space to work on,by getting a shelf unit that my tool box can be on,yet the chair can come out and go in easily.

So i timed it...5 minutes to set up/put away.Everything rolls in just 1 way,in order to get it to all fit.

A big improvement is wood storage. If I stand on my bench,I can line up blocks of wood on this big steel beam.I used some j-hooks,and chain to hang a rack to hold wood.Eventually I'm going to improve that by doing a long one on the other wall. The chain hanging works nice,as it can't leave any marks on the tin walls.

So the best part is that I did not have to get rid of anything, and it's better organized than before.

I can't wait to get back in there to finish up the batch of pens that are half done!

Thanks,
Steve
