WYSIWYG editing not there in chrome

I recently changed form I.E. to Chrome now my WYSIWYG editing ability is gone.

I have screen shots to help explain.

Here is I.E. notice in the text box above the smiley's there is the spell check and the A/A and the color, size, font changes as I type (no coding) the 2nd shot shows I have WYSIWYG selected in my control panel.


Now here is Chrome you can see the spell check and the A/A is not there and when I change size,color, font I get all the cluttered coding. What am I doing wrong. The 2nd shot shows my control panel is selected for WYSIWYG.


Any tips or tricks.

I've tried Chrome and found it hijacked to many of my other programs,
so I went back to Safari. Have had less problems wit it.

Chrome implements WYSIWYG in a way that vB does not understand. Google led me to this Chrome extension. Try at your own risk, but if you do, please let us know if it solves the problem.

well it seems to work.


Time will tell if it causes problems elsewhere


It doesn't have great reviews but we'll see.


Here's a screen shot notice the A/A is functioning (kind of) this app. must be from Israel or something looks like Hebrew. Well can't get the screen shot but when you hover your pointer over the A/A the pop-up caption is in Hebrew




But seems to be working I will report any problems enconted latter on.

Edit...I went back to edit it got a little funky with all code but quickly corrected it self. Sooooo :bulgy-eyes::redface::wink::biggrin:

I'm afraid that until Google changes its plan for implementing WYSIWYG, this is the best we can do. Hope it's adequate!
