Hello everyone!

I would like to buy a Pen Wizard beall.

I'm aware that the creator has retired, and sold the patent to a company that haven't ( yet ?) Started to create and sell them.

So is anybody from you willing to sell it's own ? Or know someone who is ?

I'm willing to purchase it, and of course pay for the shipping.

Just for clarification

Beall did not sell the patent for the Pen Wizard; the company simply ceased operations.
  • Current Status: The Pen Wizard is no longer in production and is now considered a collectable tool.
  • Acquisition: Lee Valley Tools acquired the majority of Beall's business and intellectual property when the company retired, rather than Beall selling the patent to a third party.
  • Reissue Plans: Lee Valley has expressed plans to potentially reintroduce the Pen Wizard, having acquired the rights to manufacture the tool to its original specifications.
Lee Valley Tools has confirmed they have no plans to resume manufacture of the Beall Pen Wizard.
  • Although Lee Valley Tools acquired the intellectual property and property of the defunct Beall company (which closed around late 2022/early 2023), they decided not to bring the Pen Wizard back into production.
  • Community members who contacted the company directly were told there are no plans to release the tool, likely due to it being a low-volume, non-profitable item.
  • The Pen Wizard is now considered a collectible tool, with only used units available on secondary markets like Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, or through private sales.
 
Not to discourage anyone but you have to stop and ask yourself what is it that you want to use this for? I say this because yes it has neat features and is a compact tool. But there are many other ways to accomplish ornamental turnings. yes they take certain tools but you are in the same boat with the Pen Wizard. here is a link that names a few of these that may get you to think about.
