This is a Wrench Click pen in antique brass. The wood is African padauk. I made this for my good friend Olga, who likes tools and has eclectic tastes. The engraving was done with my NEJE Master 2 7w laser engraver. It was set at 50% and 15mS. On retrospect, I probably could have turned it down to 25%, but it is dark. Now to explain what I engraved. My sister Brenda is here visiting from Virginia. We decided to celebrate Christmas and her birthday (December) while she was here. Olga is coming over Tuesday for Christmas dinner in October. Hence "Christmas In October!".

I'm really enjoying the engraver, and am slowly learning how to use it. It's so nice to be able to engrave my own pens. And at $25 a pop from the trophy shop, it will pay for itself quickly.

Awesome work!

Where did you find the pen kit? and the cool laser engraver?
The pen kit is from Woodcraft, but I think they discontinued them. They only have gold listed now.

The laser engraver I got from Nancy at NMC Lasers.
