On April 19 our church is sponsoring a wounded warrior retreat and I would like to present each of the 28 wounded warriors from all over the us with a pen. Would there be an interest from pencrafters in making a pen for this event?

My thought was that there might be members of IAP that would like to make a pen and donate to a wounded warrior for this event. If this could be possible we would need 28 pens total as that is the number of wounded warriors that my church will be sponsoring April 19th...If a member would care to make a pen for a wounded warrior it was my thought that the donating member could make a pen, write a card that would go with the pen and I would purchase display cases for each pen...The card would supply the name of the crafter along with description of the pen and provide their name and contact information should the receiver want to provide feedback to the crafter....If anyone is interested in doing this I can supply the ship to address and the contact person. The pens would be presented the evening of the ceremony. We are expecting to fill the sanctuary with around 2000 people that will attend. You might post this in causual conversation rather than the classified forum. Since your not looking to buy anything. that would put it on the front page and draw more responses.
