Wormy Blank Issue

Ok I have this blank I hope to enter into a blank Lottery at the MPG meeting in Chicago.

It was full of worm holes that were packed with saw dust and I guess worm poop. I stabilized and though they would sort of glue in but they were as soft as they were before stabilizing

I cleared out the holes and not sure what to do.

Should I:

• Fill them with resin and color
• let the winner decide
• should I toss it into the fire place

If I fill it with resin, the holes are sort of near the edge and I think 90% of the resin I add will just be turned away. So the best way to handle this is its maybe better to turn it down close to size, add resin and then finish but I'm not going to be the one turning it.

Actually, on the "frass-fills" i have, i like to add CA as i go--thin usually soaks in a MM or 2 at a time, at least. If it falls out, i normally turn to close, then add a little powder (turquoise, lapis, copper, aluminum) and let CA take it to the center. Often i'll paint the tubes if i'm seeing a lot of frass or holes, which leaves me free to decide to use CA or epoxy only as a fill. Dark brown or tan is my usual paint color, depending on the wood.

I was told that frass was worm or bug poopie. Know anyone who has a pressure pot to fill them?
