Looks like the bench I got from HF. Wish I had gotten two. Now get busy and make it look like mine - dirty and cluttered.

looks good.
is your setup in the house?

yes it is in my second bedroom. my wife is amazing and let me take it over! i still have some things to work on (vibration noise). but ill be up and running full tilt this weekend!

Nice. I was just looking at that bench Saturday, and I liked not just the solid feel, but also that it looked well put together. The drawers will also come in handy.

it is a very sturdy bench! only about an hour to put together by my self. hardest part was trying to fit it into my Honda to get it home!

Nice looking shop area. Since it is in your house I hope that you have a dust collection system. The fine dust can be really harmful to your and your wife's lungs. A good system for such a small space is the Dust Deputy. It is a cyclone and really captures the dust and will keep your house clean and your lungs happy.
Have a nice weekend turning, it is great fun and welcome.

Cindy,

Good call. I asked him the same thing this morning. He has a shop vac hooked up to a hood. I am going to point him towards Curtis's thread about the dust collection for his lathe.
