I don't what this is gonna' be! Spittoon, lampbase or maybe just a wooden vessel. It currently has over 80 pieces in it...& my new home-made turning tool..

It is quite obvious the piece shown is a device for holding small cans down, particularly effective for cans to be held against something blue. Besides that, it appears to be a nice work of segmented turning. Good work!
