Woods compatible with Waterlox

I'm about to try my first pens with Waterlox. Are all woods compatible. I understand that the Waterlox penetrates the surface and soaks in. Will it work with stuff like Cocobolo, African Blackwood, Rosewoods, Purpleheart, Desert Iron Wood? I'm sure it's ok with Redheart, Maple burl, Kiatt, etc.

I use it on cocobolo a lot, with good results. I put 3-5 coats on and let each coat dry overnight before the next.

I've used both the satin and the gloss Waterlox on pens, and came to the conclusion CA gives a better finish and is far easier to apply.

Of all the woods you mentioned, the only one I have not tried it on is Desert Iron Wood.

Waterlox worked with all the rest with great results.
