Woodcraft Aluminum Pen Case

I was wondering if anyone has purchased this case and what you think of it. It looks like a nice case, but better safe than sorry.

I think one of the concerns was that you are forced into 24 slimlines

I think the biggest draw back is that the case doesn't open all the way flat. I bought two of them and took one side of the foam out of each to make a full large pen case and a full slim pen case.

I don't have any first hand knowledge about it but i do remember a topic about it a while back, Personally i like the looks of it and the idea of the foam inserts over the binders i have. I will call my local woodcraft and see if they have one in the store although it will be Friday before i would be able to get into town to look at it. I'm sure someone here has one and will chime in sooner or later

John by switching the foam inserts around were you able to get 48 large pens in it?

I ordered on and liked it but sent it back because the cutouts are to small for Cigars and up. Would be great for slims but I don't turn any.
