I would like to get three pieces of this wood stabilized. I've had it for over two years, and it is dry without cracks. I purchased it from a musical instrument maker in Indonesia, but I forget what species of tree it is from. Each piece is six inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1.5" deep. Since I plan to use it for pen bodies, I would like it cut into .75" x .75ish" blanks, and stabilized. I am willing to pay for the service or trade a couple of the blanks, whichever you'd prefer. Please let me know if this is something you can do for me.

Thanks for your consideration.

Is it Cork?
No. It is a hardwood native to Indonesia and related to one of the nut trees. The man I purchased from makes guitars and other stringed instruments and sometimes uses it in his work. I bought it because of the rather unusual grain, but it is nice solid wood.
