Wood score!!!

Wow, Jake at Albuquque Exotic Woods had a parking lot sale today so I went by to see if I could pick up a nice small chunk to turn into a vase or something.

Well, I got that in a 4x4x7 inch piece of spalted maple Burl for $10.

But as I looked around, I saw this awesome piece of Burl that would make an amazing hollow form. It was 6x6x14 sloping down to 9" .... and it was only $50. Wow, I couldn't turn it down so I came home with it! I can't wait to get it on the lathe.
