WOOD PORN / Mesquite

This was my project for this morning, only took 2 hours (with a 14" chainsaw) to take it down and cut it up to manageable size pieces then haul it home. It has some huge burls on it, can't wait to see what is on the inside. :biggrin:

I bet that has some incredible figure in it. I wish our mesquites got that big around here. Anything with any size here has already been cut up to make rough edge end tables or something.

That looks like a great find, I used to hate that stuff, now I wish I were around some, I'd sure like to try a bowl out of some, but it don't grow in de swamps of west Tennessee!!
